Metro: narrow typeface inspired by 1960s French cinema

I now don't recall how I came upon the source image, but the original cropped sample intrigued and inspired me. After some image searching I was able to find the inspiration for the image, a poster for the 1960 French film Zazie dans le Métro, and some typography seen in it. The search also yielded the work of photographer William Klein. While I never identified the original typeface used, I began to redraw the characters from what little sources I'd found, and imagined the rest. The result is my in-progress typeface Metro.
