Mike Barker is a trained graphic designer, writer and trainer based in Winnipeg, Canada. He has worked on a variety of projects for such clients as Adbusters, Umbra, Autodesk and Medusa magazine. His most recent editorial work include projects for The Globe and Mail and the Toronto Star, and he recently redesigned the travel magazine The Guide. Mike has designed and redesign numerous magazines and newspaper over the past decade.
A graduate of History and Communications from Simon Fraser University, Mike began his design career at The Media Foundation, publishers of Adbusters magazine. Mike worked for a number of publications and design studios throughout Vancouver before relocating to Toronto in 2004.
